We mention in-game events a lot when talking about our games. From fierce monster battles to intense guild wars, frenetic PvP contests and more, we try hard to create events that appeal to many different types of players.

There are quite a few different events to enjoy, but how do you know which one is right for you? A good place to start is this new article at IGN’s RPG Vault. It contains plenty of great information from Fiesta GM Dakkon.

Our friends at MMOFury.com recently announced the winners of their MMOFury Top Fansites competition.

Two Fiesta fan sites came away with top honors: FiestaHQ and FiestaFan.

Entering a strange and gloomy chamber, a handful of adventurers and I seek out Princess Adeline, beloved by all in the kingdom of Xen. Though it is her birthday and a few select individuals have been allowed to join her to celebrate what should be a festive occasion, the location we’ve been taken to, lit by strange green energy, is somber and hardly befitting a party (though much cake was involved).

We had the pleasure of meeting with the fine folks at Allakhazam during the 2008 Game Developers Conference last Month to talk about Outspark, our games and plans for the future. They recently published the writeup and we encourage you to take a look!

Some highlights:

It was great to hear about the time focused on their games being a service, not a boxed product that, once you buy you as a consumer, have no other interaction with the company. All too many times MMOers are forced to deal with this type of publisher and developer attitude and companies like Outspark seem to be bringing the service portion of our games back to us.

Creating a play environment which is safe and playable for all players, regardless of age, is something they’re committed to. Helping Outspark in this goal is the fact that their staff is made up of Americans who both live and work in the market to which they’re providing this service. The unique challenges that must be undertaken to assure that all laws and operating procedures are easier when your entire staff is on the same page. That Outspark takes understanding their market and supplying a well defined and directed service across all areas of operation is something that truly warms my heart. All too often we see games being published in other countries without any sort of localization, poor or understaffed customer service teams, and little to no translation, and it shows! These games are not like that.
