As Silky and I were doing our daily wandering on the streets of the SOMA district, we had walked into a store to buy a pack of M&M’s. It was then when I was informed by Silky, about the existence of an M&M, that has not only peanut butter, but also… strawberries!?

Was this true? I couldn’t believe it at first myself, but as I took Silky’s word, we decided to begin a quest, the quest for the elusive M&M’s. After we waved Shutian a fond farewell, we set off on our journey. Little did we know of the perils that lay before us. Traffic filled streets, stray dogs, unstocked convenient stores.

To make a long story short, and omitting the details of the arduous journey, after 7 places and days of searching, …during our lunch break of course.., we’ve found the said candy. Here it is.

I’ve so far seen Silky’s and Rider’s seal of approval, but have yet to try them myself.

The Outspark Team is participating in our own tournament in the office Friday, August 21 to prepare for CBT2 opening soon.

The Product Manager of DGO is organizing the tournament, separating all participants into teams of three.

The 3 winners will each receive a $25 dollar gift card for Best Buy, while the people who get second will get a free lunch.

We’re excited, and all trying to secretly practice while no one’s looking.

So The Shot At Love With [GM]Tila on Teva has ended, and it was a lot of fun. If you missed the event or want to find out how it went before it happens on your server, then you are reading the right article!

The event started out with players of any level looking for [GM]Straega and [GM]Tokara who were hidden somewhere in Isya. The first two players who found them and said “I’d like a shot at love!” were later transported to the OX Quiz field.

Now, GMs won’t always hide in the same place, but you might get a few hints of where to look by checking out the screen shots. This first spot, players found [GM]Tokara rather quickly.

Some of you may recognize the zones by seeing just a small screen shot of the area. [GM]Straega’s first spot was a little more difficult for players.

[GM]Straega’s final hiding spot was very difficult and it took a while for anyone to find him. Someone actually rode by and didn’t spot him or I.

Finally some people found him. Then we were just waiting for two more to find [GM]Tokara before the next part of the event started.

She chose a very interesting place to hide. Notice how the name over her head is red?

Soon enough she was found–by a mob of players, most of which were looking for vengeance for not getting there in time! You can see in the picture how [GM]Tokara decided to take out her sword. We all had a sense of what was about to happen.

I made my way outside just as the battled began.

Lucky for me it seemed like everyone just wanted to gang up on [GM]Tokara.

The first 20 that found the GMs and said the phrase “I’d like a shot at love!” were then transported to the OX Quiz field. They answered a number of trivia questions and were eliminated when they got the answers incorrect.

Tila emerged to spend some time with the winner and their friends.

They were also awarded with a never seen before costume set:

To give you even more incentive to try out the awesome new pvp mode in Wind Slayer–King of the Hill which comes out August 6th–a really cool event is going on during the month of August.

A leaderboard will be available for everyone to see when they enter a King of the Hill match. This leaderboard will display the players with the longest times.

When the event ends,  the three players with the longest times in the hill will win premium items!
