The Secret Shopper Event in Bread ‘n Butter recently ended and we want to congratulate the grand prize winner, jprlnb! A brand-spankin’-new iPod was awarded and lots and lots of treats were baked while the secret shoppers made their way through all the open bakeries.

Congratulations to all the winners. Take a look at our interview with jprlnb below, and be sure to keep playing Bread ‘n Butter for a chance at some more great contests!

Where do you live?
Macon, Georgia.

How old are you?
22.

How did you find out about Bread ‘n Butter?
My sisters have been playing Bread ‘n Butter for a couple of months. I saw them playing one day and I thought it looked interesting so I signed up. It’s a great game because not only is it fun to play, but I can compete with my sisters to see who can the most chocoballs or strawberries in a single game day.

What’s your favorite mini game and why?
I’d have to say Jam is my favorite. It reminds me so much of Whack-a-Mole, which is one of my favorite games. I just love the old school arcade games and look forward to playing any other minigames with the same old school game flavor.

What is the longest session of BnB you’ve played in one sitting?
In one sitting? I lost count after 12 hours XD. I think it was around 14 hours, although technically it wasn’t one sitting. Had to stretch my legs every hour or so after all and had a quick lunch in there too. I must say that my floor is probably really worn from all that pacing XD.

What new features would you like to see in BnB’s future batches?
More soundtracks would be cool. Sometimes you’re playing some minigames like Kneading House and you’re in a rush to get those last two or three last dough bits. Or after playing for a couple hours straight you want to listen to some different ambient music, maybe the customers wouldn’t mind a different song every few days either XD.

Maybe a marketplace or grocery store place where you can sell your excess ingredients or buy some that you need. That way people could buy some of the later minigames without feeling pressured to buy the ones that give the ingredients for it. And maybe a way to sample the minigames for a few game days before buying them. It’d be silly to buy a game to find out you don’t like it that much and end up rarely playing it.

Any other information, comment or message you want to share?
Bread ‘n Butter is an extremely addictive game. Just a few game days can quickly turn into a few real life hours. Just be sure to stretch your legs once in a while when you play =).

Please join us in congratulating Agave222, the winner of our Mother’s Day competition in Bread ‘n Butter! Here is a little bit of information about another member of our dedicated gamer community:

Where do you live?
Modena, Italy

How old are you?
19

How did you find out about Bread ‘n Butter?
I wanted to play Fiesta and when I visited the Outspark Homepage I found it!

What’s your favorite mini game and why?
I love all mini games but my favourite at the moment is Banana Beats. I like it because I love musical games where you have to follow rhythm and push the correct arrow. I think I like it so much because it reminds me dancing games!

What is the longest session of BnB you’ve played in one sitting?
My longest BnB session I have played in one sitting was the one to win this contest. I played all the night, 8 hours straight. I was exhausted!

What new features would you like to see in BnB’s future batches?
I’d like to see many things, like the release of more mini games and something “new”. I mean something that adds more gameplay. I’d love to see a “Baker’s House” with relative furniture sold for profit. This for me would be great!

Any other information, comment or message you want to share?
I’d like to share a comment. I think this game is a great project because it’s different from others MMO. You all did a great job and I’m sure you will continue to surprise us.

I’d also want to thank you for your assistance, patience and dedication to our problems.

Congratulations to Bread ‘n Butter player iKarrington for winning our most recent event - the Banana Panic! Thanks to everyone who participated; with your help Benji was able to gather enough Bananas to counter the shortage. Great work!

Where do you live?
Nova Scotia, Canada

How old are you?
15

How did you find out about Bread ‘n Butter?
I was sent an email about Fiesta. I kept the email in my inbox but never went on the site before. The time when I wanted to find out what Fiesta was, I found Bread ‘n Butter.

What’s your favorite mini game and why?
One of my favourite games is the Christmas Cake mini game. I like it because you have to match up cards that are flipped over. I like games where you have to memorize what image was on what card.

What is the longest session of BnB you’ve played in one sitting?
I once played Bread ‘n Butter for 6 hours straight, and that was when I was played Banana Beats to win the contest. I didn’t just play it for that long everyday just to win, but playing it as much as I did helped me better understand the game.

What new features would you like to see in BnB’s future batches?
I would like to see more mini games released in the parts of the map that aren’t released yet. I would also like to see special items have permanant purchase options. Buying such an item that lets you earn more ingredients, profit, and finished products are important to have in a successful bakery.

Any other information, comment or message you want to share?
I can’t wait till Bread ‘n Butter merchandise comes out. I would love to see Bread ‘n Butter trading cards made. I love collecting things like those.

We’re happy to announce the recipients of our inaugural Player of the Month award! Each month, our Game Masters will choose a special member of the community that we believe has made some great contributions. It’s a neat way to get to know some of your fellow players (if you don’t know them already) ^_^

You might be wondering, “How can I be picked as player of the month?” There is no secret to being selected - just have fun, be nice to other players and help make the community an even better place!

May 2008 Player of the Month - Fiesta: KireiYosei

How long have you been playing Fiesta?
Since early August 2007 (closed beta).

What is your favorite color and why?
A tie between pink and green. Pink, because it defines “girly”, which is what I am, and green, because it reminds me of nature.

What’s your favorite map on Fiesta and why?
Burning Rock, even though it wasn’t supposed to be released that one time. It reminded me and my friends of Mount Doom in Lord of The Rings. We plan on making a LOTR parody there someday.

May 2008 Player of the Month - Secret of the Solstice: Sawyer

What is your favorite event and why?
I like Solstice Survivor mostly because of the special drops, the socializing, and the challenge of not getting completely pwnd in the first 5 minutes.

What is your favorite item in the Secret of the Solstice?
I love my bunny ears and angel wings xD

Do you rather play solo or party and why?
It depends on the mood I’m in. Sometimes I just need to fight on my own while other times interacting and chatting with my friends is a must!

May 2008 Player of the Month - Bread ‘n Butter: lunardice

What is your favorite color and why?
Purple, but a light purple. I’ve always liked the color since I was young. It’s a color I don’t see too often either, and different from most common favorite colors. I like to be unique, and not be the same as everyone else when possible.

What is the longest you have ever played BnB in one sitting?
That would be about 10 hours. Yes, I know I am addicted to the game. It’s so much fun! I started to play it one day and when it was finally 1 am and had to go to sleep, first thing I looked forward to in the morning: Bread ‘n Butter!

What is your favorite mini game and why?
Hmm…that’s a hard one. I would have to say the chocolate drops game with Carson in it. It’s fun to try and reach above the 30 and not make a giant mistake with the fire balls. I set goals to beat my record of how many I have caught. Trying to beat the current record of 34 at the moment.
