GM_Rider Interviews Secret of the Solstice Players
January 22nd, 2008
Many of our dedicated Secret of the Solstice players are rapidly advancing through the game, leveling up their characters and reaching new class levels.
One of our Game Masters, Rider, recently spoke with four such players and learned a lot about them and why they enjoy the game so much. Below you’ll find some highlights from the interviews; click on each name to view the entire interview with that person. Please join me in congratulating them!
Q: Why did you choose your class?
A: I chose Acolyte because i like being able to buff/heal myself and help people in the party. I think it’s a fun class to be.
Q: What is your favorite thing about Secret of the Solstice?
A: I really enjoy the game and all of its aspects, but I think the people are the best thing about the game. I wouldn’t keep coming back each night if not for some of the great people I meet. Also, the players are quite diverse with many different cultures to learn from and experience. I like how I can play with a person from say, Europe, America and the Philippines all at the same time!
Q: What is your favorite event and why?
A: I love Squire PvPs, because I stand a chance of winning them without being pwned by archers -_- But my favourite event has to be S.S. (Solstice Survivor); it’s a team PvP event, I excel at team play the most and it’s cool to challenge different classes.
Q: Who is your favorite GM and why?
A: The only noob GM around, Rider. I got to know him a bit better than the other GMs so thus my reason (plus he’s a snowboarding tony jaa look-alike, who can hate that).

Fiesta Congratulates its First Level 79 Player
January 18th, 2008
Hello Fiesta Players,
We’re excited to announce that on January 16, 2008, Fiesta saw its first Legend of Isya emerge! Outspark would like to congratulate Sylvia of the Bijou game server on being the first player to reach level 79. We spent a few minutes chatting to find out more about what it took to reach this impressive milestone.
[Outspark]: Congratulations on your accomplishment! How do you feel about being the first player to reach level 79?
[Sylvia]: Very thrilled, I’ve always enjoyed competitions which is why in previous games I have been a big fan of PvP. Its great knowing all my hard work and effort eventually paid off.
[Outspark]: How hard was it?
[Sylvia]: Very difficult, I played around 18 hours a day, everyday. I noticed two huge gaps at level 71 and 78, obviously.
[Outspark]: Wow! What advice would you give to others attempting to complete this feat?
[Sylvia]: Never give up, the road to success is a long one but it always pays out in the end. The one other thing I would like to mention to those with a competitive spirit is that I have 2 screens when I play, one for notepad haha.
[Outspark]: What do you use the notepad for?
[Sylvia]: I actually have it open to test the EXP per hour I gain from different situations. I like to number crunch these to determine maximum efficiency ![]()
[Outspark]: Impressive. How did you first hear about Fiesta?
[Sylvia]: I found out about it from a close friend of mine, we both enjoy MMORPG’s and he said I should try Fiesta.
[Outspark]: What is your favorite class in the game?
[Sylvia]: Im a fighter and I very much enjoy being one. If not a fighter, it would be a mage because I have always enjoyed being the glass cannon class.
[Outspark]: What do you enjoy the most about Fiesta?
[Sylvia]: That’s a tough one haha, so many things I enjoy about this game. One thing I like is that leveling isn’t as dull as it is on some other games. It allows you to actually enjoy your journey. The second thing are the Kingdom Quests; they are something a little newer to MMOs. It’s a very unique experience allowing players to group with each other for an event and get something nice at the end. And third but not least, the cute characters! Haha, probably a girly thing to say (I’m not a girl >_>).
[Outspark]: Do you want to thank anyone for helping you on your journey to level 79?
[Sylvia]: My guild, they have been there every step of the way. Whenever I grind, it’s always been with them.
[Outspark]: Congratulations again!
