Two weeks ago we asked for applications from players interested in being part of the inaugural Date a GM event in Fiesta; we got some great submissions and are proud to announce the finalists!

We’ll be holding the competition in a cool game show-style format that gives 15 players from each server a chance at a date with GM_Dakkon. Fifteen players also have a chance to go on a date with GM_SnakeEyes.

EVENT SCHEDULE 
The game show takes place between February 5 and February 13, 2008 and will be held in the OX Quiz Field, accessible through the town of Elderine. The event starts at 3:00pm PST.

Secret of the Solstice on GameSpot

Yesterday Outspark Game Masters and the warriors of Xen threw a surprise birthday party for General Drekard in the recently-unveiled Secret of the Solstice city of Jotunnheim. Many players came dressed in their finest costumes to enjoy the company of their fellow adventurers.

But the calm did not last forever; the evil tyrant Alastor crashed the party by sending a horde of monsters into the city! Drekard and the players fought long and hard to push Alastor’s forces out of Jotunnheim. The battle was epic and the warriors of Xen ultimately prevailed! Alastor was forced to retreat, but not before revealing that Drekard was, in fact, his brother!
